To lock your Z Fold poles, think of it like opening an umbrella!

1. Extend the poles to your desired length. Place all elements into each other.
2. Locate the two metal rings at the uppest folding joint. You'll see a wider ring and a narrower ring just below it.
3. Focus on the narrower ring. Pull it outwards away from the pole shaft.
4. Continue pulling until you feel and hear a distinct "click". This indicates the locking mechanism has engaged.
5. Just like an umbrella locks open, this action secures the pole in its extended position.
6. Once locked, you can further adjust the pole height using the flip lock (if applicable).
7. To unlock, simply push the pin back inwards.
